Hurricane.

Hearing about all this bad weather has been crazy. I was looking through photos today of the damage from Hurricane Irene that passed up the east coast this weekend-thankfully it wasn't as damaging as predicted. Some of the photos I saw were just too beautiful not to post.

Another project....finished. :)

A few weeks ago I photographed my boyfriend's brother and his wife. They had not had photos taken of them since their wedding about 3 years ago....I think....? :) It was so much fun spending time with them and doing our best to keep Maxi's attention when he was included in the photos. A special thanks to my boyfriend, Michael John....for keeping maxi entertained as we were doing photos of the lovely couple by themselves. Oh my word they're finally done! :)

About a month ago...I had the pleasure of photographing Catie Gordon's---(who is now Catie Burkett!!)--wedding! It was a lot of fun. Its so great seeing two people so in love on their special day. And I love being the one to capture all their special moments. I love when you get to freeze those moments in time. So special.
So now...after about a month---I am posting photos from their day. :) (trying to not make this a habit).

This is so hard. Just a few days ago I posted senior photos of the lovely Lizzie Ott---and today-I heard the news that she was killed in a car crash here in Fort Wayne. It completely broke my heart. Pray for her family as they go through this devastating time.

This is Lizzie. She and her family used to attend church at Wallen Baptist...which is where I have been going my whole life. It was a pleasure shooting photos of her.
